Wa alaikom salam
Yes it would be good if we could, but really we don't need it. The times of the prayers are made very clear in the Fiqh-us-Sunnah books, and we don't even need a clock to tell the prayer times, Subhan Allah. if you like insha Allah I will lend you my copy of the books if you have never read them?
Or insha Allah over the year I will post it up bit by bit in the Salah section. Whichever you prefer.

Re: prayer timetable dublin
Subhan Allah I didn't know that you don't need a prayer timetable. But I have noticied that different websites give different time for Fajr in particular. It seems to be very long in some books and quite short in other ones.
So what you are saying Carima is that the best time for Asr is the earliest part of the permissible time? and the longer you leave it, the less liked it is?
But what about the hadith that if you catch one rakka of Asr before the time is over you have done your Asr?

Re: prayer timetable dublin
Asalam alaikom
to the best of my knowledge it is HALAL
wa Allahualim
Shahada, I'm not qualified to say what is haram, and even the scholars are very careful about using this word. It is a very strong word, and subhan Allah it's how the Christians went astray - making halal thing haram and making haram things halal e.g. They decided that pig meat was halal (it is definitely Haram) and they stopped doing circumcision.
The interesting thing from my point of view is that even though the muslims were capable of making complicated calendars and timetables, Allah made it simple - so that any uneducated muslim could know the prayer times by the Sun, and the months (especially Ramadan for fasting, and the month before it in case the moon was hidden and they had to count 30 days) by the Moon - they didn't NEED to use the calculated times.
The calendars/time tables are handy if you are living in the modern times and have a tight schedule to run. I use them myself, but I also like to know from the sky what time it is (especially for Dhuhr, Asr, and Maghrib).
Did you ever notice that in Dublin the street lights come on at Maghrib? I sometimes wonder if they have sensors to detect the light going or if they are worked out by calculating the time?
Subhan Allah, Allah chose a man who could not read or write to be his final Messenger, and Islam is easy. We have the calculations and we can use them or not, but the thing is that if you were alone in the middle of a desert, stuck in the city centre, down the country or on top of a mountain you could tell when it is time to pray.

Masha Allah, you have a very good point there Shahada. If we pray before the time it doesn't count.
I just want to make clear, that in discussing these topics, I am not in any way, shape or form, trying to tell people what they should and shouldn't do,
or define what is Halal and Haram. This forum is not about directing people, there are other places for that. Here we are just to support each other and not judge.
I just think that it is amazing how Allah made the sun and moon for telling time, that's all.
If I have ever hurt you or any reader, in any way, please make 70 excuses for me, and then forgive me.
